6.11.2011: Skagaströnd: walk on the hill

These little hillocks are entertaining. They have character. They're soft and spongy to walk on and I feel a little like I am in a Dr. Seuss land.

This pair of Oystercatchers were chattering away. Noisy noisy!

I found a small fault line.

And, I found some flowering lupine.

The horses in the field below the hill.

More lumpy, bumpy hillocks.

As I was walking back to the house, I took some photographs of the horses. When I did, they stopped and looked at me. I waved and said hello.

And, below is one of the basalt cliffs. I had just been walking there, on top of it.
