6.23.2011: Skagaströnd: Windblown exhibition & open house

We had an exhibition and open house today at Nes, entitled Windblown. Apt, I think, considering the weather here. I projected my photographs in the freezer (which is no longer freezing...this building used to be a fish processing plant, I believe.)

Some of the kids who came to the reception tried on Big Head!

I found a rock shaped like a mitten, or Michigan, if you like. Resting on the thumb is a really rusty ball bearing? (It's difficult to know what it was originally.)

Jabberocky Islands.

More photos of the event are posted on the Nes website.
