Center Me
Push pins, wool string, nail, 26" x 24" x 2 1/2", June 2011.
Top is at 5'3" from floor (my height), the center nail is at my center.
I am only slightly surprised at today's experiment. I have been thinking about the inner and outer extensions of ourselves, weaving, and a variety of other things. I haven't done any silhouette-based work in several years, but the drawings I've done in the past few days reminded me of them. Things soak in and return every so often, recombined and remixed...
