A quick drive to North Carolina. Grey morning.
A little later, a minivan passed me with a gigantic load of stuff strapped to the roof. I felt like I was in National Lampoon's Vacation or The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I laughed out loud and was glad I wasn't squashed into that packed car (probably because it brought back a few, long, cramped family trips, which, I have to say, we did survive.)
